With a new generation of female soul singers storming the charts, the time seems right for Susanna Westwood's debut EP, which is certainly the match of anything from Adele, Duffy and the like.

More jazz flavoured than straight soul, this is breezily pleasant stuff, ideal for summer chilling. With three original tracks and an understated cover of Al Green's Tired of Being Alone, this has everything required of a chart hit except the major label push. A solid debut from an impressive singer.
