As Black and Grey began to play, I felt a thick rumbling coming up through the floor, as the sludgy, thick as treacle bass and riff heavy track seeped its way into my mind. With muted, mumbled vocals, this is Heavy in the true meaning of the word.

Deep Six is more laid back, slow guitar and slow build reminiscent of the dreaded college rock until it takes on a sense of epicness.

Dark Tongue Gel returns to the grungy riffs, and has a definite late Eighties alt rock vibe – no bad thing. A fine end to an impressive three tracker.
