The WOman in Black
The Woman in Black
has become the most successful British horror film ever, raking in $120 million from theatrical release alone, so it’s no surprise that Hammer are prepping a sequel (and therefore keeping with another great Hammer tradition).

The producers are teaming with original novel author Susan Hill, who is writing a story that picks up on events 40 years later – which presumably means than Daniel Radcliffe won’t be starring this time around.

Screenwriter Jon Crocker is now working on a screenplay from Hill’s story, to be called The Woman in Black: Angels of Death… nicely cumbersome. The story supposedly follows a couple who have ghostly experiences in Ell Marsh House, the setting of the first film. Time alone will tell if this is a Dracula Prince of Darkness or a Scars of Dracula in terms of Hammer Horror sequels.
