If you are excited about the release of V/H/S and gripped with a nostalgia for the days of analogue tape, you might want to get yourself along to Blackhall Studios in London on January 16th, where you can (hopefully) enjoy the film and then indulge in the sort of VHS tape nostalgia that frankly baffles me.

For one night only, the venue will be transformed into cellar Rentals, an old-school VHS rental store. After the film, you can browse the video boxes like it's 1989. More significantly perhaps, you'll go home with one of a limited 300-tape run of V/H/S on VHS, as well as enjoying complimentary drinks and popcorn (neither of which I recall ever getting at by local videotheque, but never mind).

All cynicism aside, this sounds like a fun night out (apart, perhaps, from the main feature) and with tickets costing just £20, seems a real bargain all things considered. You can book tickets at www.agmp.co.uk.
