Fred Olen Ray - auteur of beloved classics like Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers, Evil Toons and Bikini Frankenstein amongst dozens more - has emailed Strange Things with details of what may be his finest work to date - Super Shark!

"Super Shark is my take on the giant sea creature movie after my outing on Sea Snakes with Luke Perry and Tom Berenger", explains Fred. "Trying to give it a new twist our shark comes out on the beach and walks around, finally battling a four-legged walking army tank. It's just meant to be harmless fun.

"The movie features John Schneider, Jimmie JJ Walker, Tim Abell and Dark Shadows' Jerry Lacy. Look for it this summer.

"It was a lot of sun and fun and we had a great time putting it all together. CGI based movies are time consuming in post, but we're moving to the finish line now.

"Hopefully people will take a shine to it."

How could anyone not take a shine to a film about a shark that bullets bounce of, which can fly and walk about on its fins? If you need convincing further, here's the trailer (my favourite bit is where the walking tank kicks Super Shark in the face).
