Slasher Nasties
Just in time for Halloween, Shameless are releasing a box set of sleazy Italian horror under the subtle, unassuming title Slasher Nasties – which is going to look great leering out of your shelves, so remember to display it prominently.

Packaged to look like an old VHS tape – and some of us have owned all three of these films on VHS at one point – the set consists of nudity-laden, stylish giallo Torso, classy (and possibly superior) Last House on the Left imitator Night Train Murders – a film that the wizened old man working at the much-missed Mazel Movies in Manchester once enthusiastically recommended to my fifteen year old self as being "absolutely full of sex and violence" – and the frankly demented Killer Nun. A feast of 1970s squalor from the height of Italian sleaze cinema!

All three films are uncut, and the set includes a new booklet by Kim Newman on ‘the three faces of Italian exploitation’.
