The PersuadersEarly Seventies cult series The Persuaders, which featured Roger Moore and Tony Curtis as millionaire playboys solving crime, is about to emerge on blu-ray, thanks to Network, who have produced an HD restoration of the whole series, which will appear in September.

To celebrate, an exclusive event called The Time and The Place, marking the 40th anniversary of the show, is taking place at Kent House, Knightsbridge on September 10th. Star Roger Moore will be there, introducing two episodes and taking part in a Q&A session.Opening up with a food and drink reception, the event sounds a great way to spend an evening.

Tickets are £40 for the event or £80 for a ticket that includes an advance copy of the box set. As this alone retails at £80, that's quite the bargain!
