The X-rated superhero spoofs just keep on coming. The latest, set for release later this month, is Bluebird Films' Katwoman XXX, the follow-up to 2010’s award-winning Batfxxx: Dark Night Parody. Among the industry awards the studio picked up for that movie were Best Art Direction, Best Makeup, Best Cinematography and Best Special Effects - and so this has some technical qualities to live up to!

This sequel tells the story of our eponymous hero stepping up when Gothard City is threatened with a deadly new virus, and superhero Batfxxx is nowhere to be found (these porno superheroes, you just can't rely on them!). Teaming up with the Jo-Kerr, and with appearances from Wonderchick, Jokette, 2-Face, Gangster Lovato and Superchick, Katwoman sets out to save the city. I'll take a wild guess and say that doing so involves lots and lots of sex.

Dylan Ryder is Katwoman, and the rest of the cast includes Kagney Linn Karter, Gemma Massey, Jennifer Dark, Anna Lovato, Natasha Marley, Bridgette B, Lexi Swallow, Evan Stone, Dale Dabone, Mr. Pete and Bluebird owner Paul Chaplin, who also wrote the screenplay It's directed by adult movie veteran Nicholas Steele.

As to whether it's any good or not, you'll just have to wait for our review...

UPDATE: It seems that Strange Things readers have an insatiable need for information on this film, so who am I to deny you? Luckily, Bluebird have sent over a bunch more promo shots - you can check them out here (if you have any doubts: yes, these do feature unfettered boobs, so are not safe for work unless you work somewhere cool), as well as the trailer, and I have to admit, it looks pretty good! No need to take my word for it - check it out below. This is a safe-for-work version (that means no nudity!).
