When
you think of horror films that could translate easily
to live attractions, The Human Centipede
is probably not the first one that comes to mind.
Yet that's exactly what is coming to London.
The
London Bridge Experience & London Tombs have teamed
up with director Tom Six and Bounty Films to present
a live version of the movie during their
PhoboPhobia Halloween event in a
show called After Dark Extreme Scare -
The Human Centipede. With sets recreating
Dr Heiter's lab, film clips and music, as well as
a (hopefully not authentic) live human centipede,
it promises to be quite the experience!
Six commented: “I went through the London
Tombs and I loved every second of it. The actors really
scare the hell out of you and the sets you go through
are amazing and could easily compete with the best
horror film sets.”
James Kislingbury, General Manger of the London Bridge
Experience & London Tombs, added: “This
is going to be our scariest Halloween ever, it will
be a spectacular event and our scarers will form the
live human centipede, they are all so keen to be involved
that we have had to hold a ballot.”
The
event runs from October 27th - 31st. Tickets are £23
for adults, £21 concessions – OAPs and
Students; £17 for Under 18s – although
the show is, understandably, not recommended for under
16s. Early booking is essential. Bring your own sandpaper-lined
toilet roll tube.
