The
Human Centipede II
might have been banned by the BBFC, but director Tom
Six isn’t letting that slow him down.
Appearing at Empire’s Big Screen event this
weekend, Six has announced plans for a third film
that will, he claims, make part 2 “look
like a Disney film”. Fans might recall
he made a similar claim about part 2 in relation to
the original film, and it seems like he delivered
on that promise, so we can only imagine the horrors
that await in part 3, which will be shot in America.
Talking about the ban on HC2, Six
said that he wouldn’t cut the film to appease
the easily upset British censors, commenting “I
hate cutting but I’m jealous that you can buy
A Serbian Film here, but you can’t
see mine. If it’s made here you need to be able
to see it.”
As ever, we keep our fingers crossed that the various
attempts to bring The Human Centipede II
to UK audiences, and look forward to seeing the final
part of the trilogy.
