Frightfest – or the Film4 FightFest to give it the official corporate title – returns at the end of August for five days of horror at the Empire, Leicester Square.

Among the films showing this year are Wicker Man ‘sequel’ The Wicker Tree, The Glass Man, Guinea Pigs, A Lonely Place to Die and Stormhouse among the ten British movies in the lineup. International cinema is represented by the likes of Lucky McKee’s controversial The Woman, zombie comedy (oh no!) Deadheads, Fright Night 3D, A Horrible Way to Die, Rabies (pictured), Troll Hunter and The Theatre Bizarre amongst others.

The festival runs from August 25 – 29. Festival and day passes go on sale July 2nd, and individual films can be booked from August 1st – tickets available at www.empirecinemas.co.uk.
