In May 2010, the legendary Ronnie James Dio died. After an early reluctance to accept himself as a heavy metal God, Dio - frontman for Rainbow and Black Sabbath before launching his own band - eventually embraced the term and became a great ambassador for the genre, and his loss was mourned by metal fans, both current and former, around the world.

Now. The first three Dio albums are being reissued as deluxe editions on CD. Holy Diver, The Last in Line and Sacred Heart will be out in March in remastered editions, complete with additional CDs of B-sides, outtakes, live tracks and more, as well as newly produced booklets.
