DEATH WALTZ TO RELEASE CULT MOVIE SOUNDTRACKS ON LIMITED EDITION VINYL

Movie soundtrack lovers rejoice – a new record label is about to launch, bringing a mix of old and new movie soundtracks in luxurious limited editions. Spencer Hickman’s Death Waltz Recording Company is dedicated to high-rend collectable recordings on vinyl. Each edition comes with new, exclusive artwork, liner notes and will be available as a 300 edition coloured vinyl complete with numbered print and poster that will be exclusively available from the Death Waltz website, as well as a standard black vinyl edition sold in shops.

The label launches in May with two much-loved soundtracks. Kicking things off is Fabio Frizzi’s legendary score for Lucio Fulci’s Zombie Flesh Eaters – or Zombi 2 as titled here – appearing on vinyl for the first time ever! With a cover by cult movie poster artist Graham Humphreys and sleeve notes by Frizzi and Stephen Thrower, the album will be available on red and clear splatter vinyl.

Also in May, the label will release John Carpenter’s Escape from New York with artwork by Jay Shaw (aka Iron Jaiden) on black and orange swirl vinyl – another must-have item!

Future releases include The House of the Devil (red and black swirled vinyl), Let the Right One In (red and white splatter vinyl) and Donnie Darko (black and blue swirled vinyl). An impressive haul!
