The
Dead by Dawn festival
returns to Edinburgh at the start of May for four
days of horror (not to mention exhaustion and
hangovers I suspect!).
Taking
place at the Filmhouse between the 5th and 8th
of May, the festival features films such as The
Afflicted, Cold
Fish, The Death of Alice
Blue, Yellowbrickroad,
Chop, UK film Harold's
Going Stiff, The Neighbour Zombie
and more, plus short films supporting each feature.
A full pass costs £65.
For
those of you unable to make the full festival
- and with the stamina to handle all-nighters
- Spawn of Dawn runs
from midnight on the Saturday and features a selection
of features and shorts from throughout the event.
This will cost you just £25.
What's
more, there's be the usual range of supplemnetray
attractions, including the wonderful-sounding
'shit film amnesty', where you can bring along
the most embarrassing film in your collection
and - if deemed to be worse than everyone elses
- take the whole lot of them home with you.
More
info at the
website.
