Fans of rubber monsters and Doug McClure have good reason to celebrate in July, as a bunch of Amicus and post-Amicus science fiction movies come to DVD.

While Amicus remain best known for their anthology horror films, they had some of their biggest successes in the mid-1970s with Edgar Rice Burroughs adaptations The Land That Time Forgot and At The Earth's Core. After the demise of the company, producer/director team Kevin Connor and John Dark continued with the format in Warlords of Atlantis. All three films will be released on DVD on July 30th, alongside 1967 Amicus sci-fi movie They Came from Beyond Space. sadly missing for completists are The People That Time Forgot and An Arabian Adventure... but fingers crossed for the future, eh?
