As someone who enjoys both a beer festival and the comedy folk stylings of The Lancashire Hotpots, I was sure to enjoy this single lifted from their last album A Hard Day’s Pint, and indeed this is a chirpy little number. Not perhaps as raucous as you might hope, the song is instead more laid back, but accurately reflects the nature of a beer festival (these lads have clearly been to a few) and should be adopted as CAMRA’s national anthem.

Also included here are ‘karaoke’ versions of the track and The Perfect Pint – though it remains to be seen if the tracks would actually work with karaoke machines.
