The Adult Channel’s Doctor Screw, on the face of it, promises little but actually proves to be a lot of fun. Originally shown in a soft version on TV, this is the hardcore cut - but for once, I suspect that this would be just as entertaining without the explicit content.

Over six episodes, the Doctor and his assistant Holly travel through time and space in a portaloo TARDIS, meeting and shagging cavewomen, hippies, androids and Nazis, while dealing with evil would-be conqueror the Mistress.

This is not the first Dr Who porno spoof - in 2005, there was Dr Loo and the Filthy Phaleks, as well as Trevor Barley's Abducted by the Daleks - but it is the best to date. Some effort has been put in here – the special effects are not half bad, the script is witty and Mark Sloan is excellent as the Doctor. Only Elle Brook lets it down with her atrocious acting. Sure, her main job is to look cute, strip off, open her legs and gobble cock – all of which she does very well - but given how much work has gone into the rest of the production, surely the producers could have found someone who could deliver dialogue with at least a modicum of interest?

This irritation aside, Doctor Screw is a surprisingly fun experience - light years ahead of most British porn and definitely worth a look for more open-minded and mature Dr Who fans!
