This four-track effort immediately sets your teeth on edge with opener Roman Summer, which mixes strangulated indieboy vocals with not-as-smart-as-it-thinks-it-is music that sounds pretty much like everything else within the increasingly unadventurous world of British indie. And things move along the same path for much the rest of the EP – Custom Hands mixes African rhythms and jangly guitars to no great effect, Will Smith Solves The Rubik’s Cube has a slight tune but is instantly forgettable, and Dragon’s Milk Pt II is a particularly irritating slice of indie tweeness.

Radio 1 apparently love ‘em. Which says it all, really. For desperate hipsters only..
