Manuel Ferrara’s double disc set Battle of the Sluts is a compilation of scenes featuring Jenna Haze and Naomi, which not only makes it a majot disappointment to anyone buying it in the hope of seeing actual slut battles, but lso means that the content is understandably variable.

As a director, Ferrara continues to impress – he’s like a mini Rocco Siffredi, complete with verbal nastiness, aggressive sex and humiliation that won’t be to everyone’s taste – but if you like that sort of thing, he does it very well. As for the two headline stars – well, I’ve complained about Naomi before – she just doesn’t do anything for me, and her ridiculous, exaggerated attempts to look sexy in the opening scene will have more viewers howling with laughter than choking the chicken, I suspect. Jenna, on the other hand, is impressive; frankly, she looks far too wholesome to do the nasty stuff she does, and that dichotomy works well. Sand she’s in the best scene here, an eerie green nightshot session in a padded cell.

With the good scenes outweighing the bad, this is worth a look – though a full Jenna Haze compilation would be a better bet I suspect.
